Recently we discovered how our canopies could be used for a long-term hunting trip. We’ve again found new ways for our canopies to provide shelter.

A recent customer needed shelter over a small space to create a personal ceramic studio. His rented room in a townhome didn’t provide the space he needed, but to work outside in the Pacific Northwest would prove difficult. We were able to custom fit a 12’x8’ canopy next to his building. Add an extension cable and a space heater and he’s in business.

What else can we keep protected for you? Prices vary, as each of our canopies is custom fit to your needs, so call (206)-679-4569 for your free estimate today.

Ever price a storage unit? Here in the Northwest, they can run from $150 to $300 a month for a 10′ x 20′ spot. What about moorage for a boat. That too can run big money… $2-500 a month is really feasable for boat storage. What about building something? Are you going to live in your location for the next 10 – 20 years? Think about it.

My canopy / carport / garage out back, It houses 1 28′ motorhome, 1 22′ bucket truck, 2 jetskis, a boat and a small utility trailer. Thats alot of storage. The size – 24 x 50. The cost $4457. Thats 1200 square feet of storage and I love it! To store all this stuff at a Big Box storage facility would cost me over $1000 a month. I keep money in my pockets after 4 1/2 months!

Now what if you just have a Motorhome, truck or boat? That would be much smaller than my 1200′ shelter. Here are the benefits:
1. Its at your location, no need to go anywhere
2. Its portable, if you need it somewhere else grab some friends, take it apart and re-erect it.
3. You can take it with you if you move
4. Some area’s don’t require a permit
5. You can sell it. Try to sell a permanant structure, its not going to happen!

If you spend $2500 to protect your $100,000 motorhome. You will save money after the first year. Not only that, but sustain the resale value of your equipment. Sure beats paying storage fees and when driving it off the lot, not keeping anything for your investment!

NWCanopies has protected millions of dollars worth of equipment. Call us for your free quote, so we can protect yours as well.

My father is an avid hunter. He’ll stay out in the wilderness for a whole month looking for that perfect buck, turkey, bear, deer or other exotic animals he gets tags for. He uses these canopies when he is hunting, they are quick to setup and sturdy. Since he’s out hunting for extended periods of time, he has a camping site that he returns to each evening. At the camping site the RV, tent and other kitchen camping gear on the picnic table. A lot of times the tarps and posts that he’ll buy at the local sporting good stores aren’t sturdy enough to hold in the weather for a month or two at a time. He used to go that route and often had to buy replacements. Our tarps are strong! Stronger then any of the tarps you’ll buy at a sporting goods store (14 times stronger actually). They’ve been known to hold up for ten (plus) years and have plenty of life left in them. The galvanized poles are strong too. They won’t rust and they’ll hold up in the weather and not bend when it’s windy or hard rain. The great part is that they are easy to put up.

Why not make a 10×20 temporary structure at a camping/hunting site? It’ll certainly keep the kitchen area dry. It’ll be a large covered space for dining, eating and cleaning up your “catch” of the day. The whole group that you’re with could stay under a really nice dry area for meals and cards after a good day of hunting.

These temporary coverings are really versatile. It’s not something that will be just an investment to protect your RV’s and boats, but it’ll also be great for camping just with the family for a weekend or hunting for a month.

Not just a temporary carport, a HUGE storage area.

Last weekend, I began putting a canopy together for a customer. It was a custom canopy and a huge storage area for the customer’s boat and RV and any additional vehicles or equipment he may have. (you can see the finished product on the homepage)

The customer had contacted me a few weeks ago telling me what he wanted to store and what his purpose was for the shelter. I went out there a few days later to look at his property and see how I could help him. As we began talking, he said that he pays $200+ a month for storing his boat down in the marina and his RV gets a lot of weather on it ie pine needles, branches, dirt etc. He has a lot of cleaning come spring and a lot of money put into the storage of his boat. With a canopy large enough to store his boat, his RV and some extra equipment, the canopy could pay for itself in less than a year. On top of that he has direct access to it in his back yard! He smiled at the thought and said, “Go for it!”

So, like I said, last weekend, I put it up. The structure looks great outside and it’ll provide ample shade from the sun, shelter from the elements and his boat and RV will remain on his property for easier access when he’s ready to go out and take a trip.

Our canopies may be a temporary structure, but it’s strong, sturdy and ready to brave the Northwest elements and protect all of your recreational investments and equipment.
